There is no doubt that traveling is one of the most exciting things people can experience. However, long traveling hours can be exhausting and definitely affect your trip. Imagine you are on board when something unpleasant happen to you and you have to wait for hours to fix it. Here are few tips to make those long plane hours enjoyable, or at least comfortable.
The key for a comfortable trip is the how you pack your carry-on bag; what you carry with you on board will define whether your trip is going to be easy and fun, or it is going to turn into hell.
Dress Loose

Keep in mind that you might stay for long hours in one seat, and a few others waiting in line, and of course dragging luggage and roaming the duty free. You can wear your highest healed-shoes or your tightly fitted clothes and suffer, or you can simply wear comfortable outfits and enjoy the flight. You choose!
Keep the most precious within reach

Can you imagine losing your passport, money, ID or other important papers? Will you be ready to pass through all the security procedures to get them back, or release new ones? Packing these documents and papers in your checked bag will make them susceptible to loss. Incidents of lost luggage are frequent in airports, and believe me you won’t like to lose your papers!
Get ready for any urgency

When you have medical problems, keeping your medicines with you is not a difficult task that needs planning. However, even if you don’t have certain medical issues, some medicines are essentials to keep in hand. A sudden toothache, dizziness, headache or other pains may ruin your flight.
Make your seat more comfortable
Well, your seat is not quite a comfortable bed, but you can make it one. The airline hostesses will offer you a pillow or a cushion if you want to sleep, but it won’t be like the one you are used to. Get your own cushion. You might night get a deep sleep, but at least you will get a good nap.
Kill the time

When you are sitting in one place for hours, seconds feel like years especially when you are not able to sleep. Make sure you get things to kill boredom; it would be a good time to finish reading a novel, read an article, or skim a magazine. You can use your pad or tablet to play games, plan for the coming days, watch a movie, or listen to some good music. Before you board, make sure your devices are fully charged.
Appreciate the glory of food

What can bring joy to our hearts more than chocolate?! Keep some snacks in your bag, some chocolate, cookies, or nuts can be chilling and give you a stress-free flight. Make sure you ask the flight crew for the drinks you like, since bringing liquids on board is prohibited.
Prepare yourself for your new destination
Things might be different when you land; keep extra clothes with you because the weather might be cooler. Get a map for the city, locate your hotel on it, and save some important phone numbers like your taxi driver and the hotel.
